Football Fundraising Ideas to Please Everyone

If you've been involved with the football team for any length of time, you've probably seen all sorts of football fundraising ideas come and go. Brochures, food, cards - these are all football fundraisers that have varying degrees of popularity and success with sports teams of all kinds. You may have discovered from previous fundraising efforts that your particular group likes to sell to their fellow students on school grounds, and if that is the case, then you're going to need to research fundraising ideas that will appeal to the kids, as they will likely be the majority of your supporters.

It doesn't take a genius to figure out what fundraisers the kids will like best. Chocolate may be the oldest football fundraising idea in the book, but there's a reason it's still around and that it's still so popular. Chocolate never goes out of style, kids never get tired of having it, and so if the students are going to be your chief customer base, then give the customers what they want! You'll have to organize things with the school so that you can execute your sale on school grounds during lunch periods or between classes, and if you can get that permission, then you're all set. There are chocolate fundraisers ranging from fundraising specific dollar chocolate bars to Hershey's and other brand names, so we're bound to have something that will suit you and your team.

Pizza cards can be another great football fundraising idea, if for example the school doesn't want you to sell chocolate on campus, or you're just looking for a product that is a bit easier to distribute. Pizza cards give your supporters a great 2-for-1 discount at their favorite local pizza merchants, and up to 90% of the profits on the cards can go to your team.
